How can art open our eyes and our minds to initiate change?

If you could turn your passion for art into action, what would you reimagine?

Our Mission

Widen The Frame is an organization that inspires a movement of young people who believe that bringing relevance to art can foster belonging and empower individuals to transcend boundaries, spark dialogue, and ignite social change.

Our Backstory

Widen The Frame is a collaboration between four high school students - Ali, Chase, Colin, and Henry who believe that art is a powerful key to influencing perspectives and should be accessible to everyone, everywhere. We’re launching our project within the New York area, and hope that our model will be adopted in as many places as possible around the world!

FAQs

Why did you start Widen the Frame?

Ali, Chase, Colin and Henry started Widen the Frame during freshman year of high school with a shared goal of bridging social, economic, and cultural divides through the arts. They believe that art has the power to expand perspectives and connect people from different backgrounds. Their mission is to make art accessible everywhere, beginning in the New York area and ultimately inspiring communities around the world to adopt this model.
